Scaffolding Company Fined

A scaffolding company has been fined after a worker was crushed by a forklift truck, sustaining lifelong injuries. The employee was working for Whiterose Scaffolding (Leeds) Ltd, operating a lift truck in the yard when the truck overturned, trapping him underneath. As a result of the incident the worker sustained serious life changing internal injuries and since the accident, is now living with chronic pain and severe mobility issues. Taking Learners on the Motorway

From Monday 4 June 2018, learner drivers are able to take driving lessons on motorways in England, Scotland and Wales. This will help to make sure more drivers know how to use motorways safely. How the change will work Learner drivers will need to be: accompanied by an approved driving instructor driving a car fitted with dual controls Any motorways lessons will be voluntary.
