TRAILER TRAINING COURSE
At WSM Training Ltd we provide a high level of service for all our drivers from Dumfries & Galloway, Borders and Cumbria.
Our training area is based at Unit 130, Heathhall Industrial Estate, Tinwald Downs Road, Dumfries, DG1 3PH.
The training is also available on-site at your premises.
Trailer Training Course
WSM Training Ltd is a member of Skills for Logistics – B+E accredited training centre network, who are officially recognised by the DVSA to deliver B+E trailer training.
How is the training structured?
Drivers can undertake training, covering the B+E Driver Training syllabus created by the DVSA which provides them with specific training on how to tow a trailer, up to 3,500kg MAM with a category B vehicle. The duration of training will be based on a judgement by the trainer, of the ability of the driver and the time that will be required for them to meet the aim of the syllabus. Training is accredited by Skills for Logistics.
The training will be a mixture of theory and practical elements:
- Uncoupling and Recoupling
- Reversing Exercises
- On Road Driving
- Towing Laws / Advice / Safety Help
1 Day Course (9:00 am to 4:30pm)
